- 🏚️ Absence of a sprinkler escutcheon to cover a clearance hole can delay the sprinkler head operation in a fire situation. Two-piece flush escutcheon is used to improve the overall appearance of a sprinkler installation by concealing the clearance holes required for the connecting piping and fittings to the sprinkler. Fire sprinkler covers are intended for use in areas with finished walls or overhead ceilings
- 🏚️Each two-piece escutcheon provides for semi-recessed sprinkler installations having total adjustments 19.1mm(3/4”) from the flush position. The adjustment provided by these escutcheons reduces the accuracy to which fixed piping to the sprinklers must be cut, while providing a decorative recessed sprinkler installation
- 🏚️ The separable two-piece design allows installation of the sprinklers and pressure testing of the fire protection system/evaluation of leak tightness, prior to installation of a suspended ceiling or application of the finish coating to a fixed ceiling. It also permits the removal of suspended ceiling panels, for access to building service equipment, without having to first shut down the fire protection system and remove sprinklers
- 🏚️ This fire sprinkler cover is only for 1/2” sprinkler head, not for 3/4” sprinkler head. The recessed escutcheons must be installed and maintained in compliance with the applicable standards of the NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA). The owner is responsible for maintaining their fire protection system and devices in proper operating condition
