Its transparent upper has a waterproof, breathable Powertex membrane for reliable weather protection in the alpine’s often wet weather. Salewa’s Kevlar-cabled 3F System adds a surprising amount of stability to such an ultralight hiking shoe. Salewa strengthened the upper with TPU randing at the toe and heel. Underfoot, the POMOCA Speed Hiker Pro outsole offers reliable traction at all angles thanks to the multi-directional rubber lugs. EVA cushioning keeps comfy while the MFF+ footbed offers support.
